As yoga practitioners and studio owners, we have come to realize the underlying phenomenon of just how "in to" yoga some of our fellow students have become. Regardless of other priorities, yoga practice makes it to the top of their daily to-do list. Some have swapped their true addictions for asanas, finding clarity and freedom they never thought possible. Practicing multiple times a day, even lugging their mat with them on vacation - these yogis never miss a beat. Or a breath. So call it dedication, or obsession - maybe even addiction. Whatever the label, given so many negative ways of coping with the stresses of our modern day, we have chosen to celebrate the growing decision to take a deep breath instead.
So whether you do it alone, or twice a day, or just because everyone else does - be proud that your addiction has intention. And be proud to admit it, with one of our original t-shirts or hoodies.
We did inhale. And we were hooked from the first breath.
We use yoga and we hope you do too.
Love,
Aaron & Julie Fenton
